Kevin Clay
This little-known (and probably broke) artist has recorded some of the best rock since the greatest icon of the Christian underground (yes, it exists!), Michael Knott. Albums include "Watch Me Fall" and "Nash-Vegas: Land of Milk and Money", as well as many others. His band was called My Little Dog China and was known for doing covers of songs like "Pretty Vacant" and "Rock Stars on Heroin" at their concerts and having some of the most transcendent guitar feedback imaginable. He is an artist who easily bridges the divide between sacred and secular music by including songs about divorce and having no money alongside songs about his desperate graspings at the hem of Jesus's garment. This is not just one more entry in the bargain bin. He will kick your ass and make you question your beliefs, be they Christian, Atheist, or Other. Kevin, your fan(s) hold the flag high and eagerly await your return! Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
